exactly how far we can see?

i need exact answer how far a human eye can see
Answer:
I have read about this in the " Science Reporter " magazine .
" A perfectly Healthy human eye, in a completely dark space ( In the absence of all types of natural and artificial lights ) can able to see a light from a lighten match-stick 51kms away from it."
This sounds like you dont understand how the eye works - photons can travel thousands of light years across the void of space and land in our eyes - we could see all the way across the universe theoretically - what matters is resolution.
Depends on if you are long or short sighted.
3 million light years.
