I just found a bottle of prozac that I had lost. It expired December of 2006. I no longer have insurance and Prozac is super expensive. Does anyone know if expired Prozac would harm me if I took it?
Answer:
That's a good question. The biggest problem with drugs expiring is that the chemicals inside them begin to degrade. Since it's only been a month since the expiry, I really don't know if it'll effect you, but I would check with a pharamacist. It'll probably just not be as effective as regular prozac.
Not if it did not harm you prior to December 31. It takes time for the chemicals to break down and weaken.
