I assisted at one a few years back. It is usually an outpatient procedure. You can go back to work the next day. It is very satisfying to patients who have been ridiculed for having big ears. Patients are definitely happy. First ask yourself, though, do I really need it? It is very rare that a person has undesirable ears. What you may find unattractive may actually look quite normal to others.
